Regulatory status, how SIFPE is paid, risks and conflicts of interest.
Last updated 20 September 2026
1. Regulatory status
SIFPE is registered with AMFI as a mutual fund distributor, ARN 10570, held by Avinash Jain. SIFPE is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser (RIA), research analyst, portfolio manager or stock broker.
EUIN [EUIN] is quoted on every transaction so the person who advised it is identifiable. Investors can verify our ARN at amfiindia.com.
For insurance, SIFPE operates as [POINT OF SALES PERSON / CORPORATE AGENT / INSURANCE MARKETING FIRM], registration [NUMBER], under the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.
For loans, SIFPE acts as a referral and facilitation partner for banks and NBFCs and is not a lender.
2. Nature of service
SIFPE provides execution and facilitation services. Fund information shown on the Platform is compiled from published market data (NAV history, rolling returns, category averages) and the details you enter (goal, horizon, risk comfort). It is information to help you decide, not a personal recommendation. AMFI registered distributors are permitted only incidental, product-related information under SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013.
3. Commission disclosure (mutual funds)
SIFPE distributes regular plans and receives trail commission from AMCs, paid out of the scheme's total expense ratio. Nothing is deducted from your investment separately. Indicative trail commission rates by category, as paid by the AMCs on our panel, are:
- Equity and equity oriented hybrid schemes: 0.50% to 1.25% per annum of assets
- Debt and conservative hybrid schemes: 0.10% to 0.75% per annum
- Liquid and overnight schemes: 0.02% to 0.15% per annum
- Index funds and ETFs: 0.05% to 0.30% per annum
Exact rates vary by AMC and scheme and are published on each AMC's website and in the scheme information document. Regular plans have a higher expense ratio than direct plans by roughly the commission amount. You can invest in direct plans directly with the AMC or through a SEBI registered platform; SIFPE does not offer direct plans.
In the previous financial year SIFPE received total commission of ₹[AMOUNT] across all AMCs. Scheme-wise and AMC-wise commission disclosure, as required under AMFI guidelines, is available on request at hello@sifpe.com.
4. Commission disclosure (insurance and loans)
Insurers pay SIFPE a commission on premiums, within IRDAI limits, that does not change your premium. Lenders pay a referral or processing fee on disbursed loans. We will tell you the applicable rate for any specific product before you buy.
5. Conflicts of interest
Because commission rates differ between products, SIFPE has a financial interest in what you buy. We manage this by showing information from published market data across our whole panel rather than a curated few, by displaying commission upfront, and by not setting sales targets for individual products. Our team members are not paid on a per-product basis.
6. Risk disclosure
- Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme related documents carefully before investing.
- Past performance of a scheme, AMC or category is not indicative of future results. NAVs can go down as well as up.
- Returns shown in calculators are based on assumed rates and are not guaranteed.
- Insurance premiums are indicative until the insurer completes underwriting. Claims are decided by the insurer under the policy terms.
- Loan eligibility shown is an estimate. Sanction, rate and tenure are decided by the lender.
- Fixed deposit rates are set by the issuing bank or NBFC and are subject to change.
7. No pooling of funds
SIFPE never holds your money. Investment amounts move directly from your bank account to the AMC or exchange clearing corporation; redemptions are paid by the AMC directly to your registered bank account. Insurance premiums are paid to the insurer.
8. Data sources
NAVs and scheme data are sourced from AMFI (amfiindia.com) and the respective AMCs and may be delayed. Insurer claim settlement ratios are from IRDAI annual reports. SIFPE is not responsible for errors in third party data.
9. Investor education
Investors should deal only with registered intermediaries. Verify our ARN on amfiindia.com. Complaints about mutual funds can also be lodged on SEBI SCORES (scores.sebi.gov.in) and about insurance on IRDAI Bima Bharosa (bimabharosa.irdai.gov.in).
